B. 2009 MCF Race Surcharge Collection Update:
o The following races owe MCF fees:
- Opus #2, #3
- Tour of Granite County
- St. Peter Time Trial
- Porkchop Challenge CX
- Hudson Riverfront CX
- Big Ring Flyers CX
- Red River CX (approved waiving surcharges due to only 19 riders)
- Campus Crit (Approved waiving Campus Crit surcharges due to 2-year hiatus and weather)
C. 2010 budget approved
TECHNICAL COMMISSION’S REPORT (6:50 – 7:00)
A. Nobody officially representing Commission attending
- We need someone to take over the technical commission.
- Brian Crosby to look into upgrade policies and procedures and to look at streamlining process.

o Looking for feedback on banquet and costs.

C. Start Bike Racing 2010 Marketing Budget $6,000
o Survey results:
- Training info and club links were found useful
- Would like to see beginner friendly races on calendar
- Would like to see more information on teams, team philosophies, rides, etc.
NEW BUSINESS (7:45 - 8:00)
A. Dave Lunde – NSC Velodrome Junior Program
- Over 12 new Jr. riders got into track riding last year
- NSC – Future Stars Track Program
- JR Track ROY
- Financial support ($1,500/year x 2 years)
- MCF Club support

B. Race Promoters Summit
- This will be an idea-sharing summit and to talk about the future of MN bike racing and how to unify and improve racing
- Tentative date of March 1
- All ROY and CRY promoters are required to attend. There will be a tele-conference option for those unable to attend.
Upcoming meeting items:
- Rainy day fund for races that run into weather or issues
- Discuss allocation of dates for road and cyclocross
- Surcharges to be waived for State Championship events
- Women’s 40+ racing category and ROY
